SHOWTIME - ALTERNATIVE CUT
Original Title: TERRIFIER 1 & 2
RUNNING TIME: 107 minutes.
This cut will be an alternative edition of the earlier edit Showtime.
A modified streamlined cut with approx. 30 minutes used of the first Terrifier.
These 30 minutes are only focused on the two women and some of the other characters are removed.
The second will be butchered to a decent running time without the dragging irritating bullshit because it was for me way too long.
Re-scores by Carpenter and some others, but also the original music will be used in this edition.
SCALPS
RUNNING TIME: 59 minutes.
I saw this movie back in time at the imagine film festival in 2012.
A great remake of the 1980 original Maniac.
Years later when I saw it on Blu-ray I had several ideas in my head to make a fan edit of this masterpiece.
The idea in this cut is that you don't see the face of the killer because almost everything is filmed thru the killer's eyes.

SAVAGE VENGEANCE
RUNNING TIME: 73 minutes.
I love the "I Spit on your grave" movies.
Rape-Revenge movies with extreme violence.
If there is a good story in these movies I have no problem with that.
However, the remake of 2010 and the 2015 follow-up VENGEANCE IS MINE (with actress Sarah Butler) are my favorites.
I made a two-in-one edition of both, called SODOMY. (Also released on the blog)
This one was made in between (2013) with another actress and also a great rape/revenge movie.

REGAN
Original Title: THE EXORCIST
RUNNING TIME: 78 Minutes.
Taken from the recently released 4K edition.
I put enough info about it on Reddit, but one more time:
This edit is purely focused on the possession of Regan and all the background of Karras is gone.
Karras is a Priest who gets involved in the possession of Regan and that's it.
So his problems and his deceased Mother are NOT in this cut.
There is no killing of Burke Dennings, although I hate that character
it's also completely removed in the edit, but it would have been great to see the killing in the original but it was never filmed.
Anyway, Dennings doesn't exist in the edit.
A lot of composers with additional music and sound in DTS.7.1
Quality of the Blu-ray is outstanding.
ROBOT SANTA
Original Title: CHRISTMAS, BLOODY CHRISTMAS.
RUNNING TIME: 59 Minutes.
The movie about a Terminator Santa was fun to watch but 30 minutes are wasted in the original on useless dialogue.
I cut this as a full-action rollercoaster with 70% re-scores in the edit.
Background music is changed and I used the music among others from
Brad Fiedel (Terminator) Jimi Hendrix, Nick Mason, and Tomandandy.
Taken from a 4K UHD Blu-ray in DTS-HD sound.
RAPED AND BUTCHERED
Original Title: LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT (1972)
RUNNING TIME: 53 minutes.
The first movie by Wes Craven.
I am a fan of Craven, I love a lot of his movies but this one is 70% garbage.
And the garbage is mostly in the original running time.
Technically weak as hell, bad acting, and some scenes are so stupid and bad it's laughable.
Especially the two idiots dressed like cops and acting like Laurel and Hardy is trimmed in this edit.
The violent scenes are (for that time) pretty sick, and most of the original movie is done with lousy music.
This streamlined edit has some re-scores here and there but the remake of 2009 was so much better.
REVENGE
RUNNING TIME: 64 minutes.
One of my French horror favorites.
Cut to 64 minutes with additional music by Rob Coudert, Tomandandy, and Thom Yorke.
Great special effects, very violent and sadistic, so enough stuff to make a Maniac rollercoaster of this.
The use of the shotgun is overdubbed, and there are embedded (red) subtitles in this edit.
ROOM 237
RUNNING TIME: 92 minutes.
The Shining will always be one of my favorites.
But there were also some disappointments when I saw it back years ago on DVD.
The ratio was in the beginning on DVD in 4.3 and there were also some movie mistakes.
Visually The Shining is excellent done, great camera work but that 4.3 ratio was awful.
If Kubrick filmed this in a 2.35.1 ratio or 2.40 without the mistakes it would have been perfect.
In this cut the mistakes are gone, where it was possible, it's in a 2.40 ratio.
The story is a little different in this edit, it's more focused on room 237 and Halloran is just a cook in this edit nothing more.
He has a small part in this and Tony the imaginary boy of Danny is not in this edit.
The American version was way too long, and I put the whole story in this edit in 92 minutes.

REDRUM
RUNNING TIME: 115 minutes.
Edition of Doctor Sleep.
All the scenes of the Boy, the Mother, and Jack Torrance, played by other actors in the movie will be replaced by the original cast of THE SHINING.
The movie was fine by me when I watched it but the new actors who played Jack, Wendy, and Danny did not work for me.
All these scenes are a disaster.
Also, the (new) Halloran is completely cut out in this sequel.

RECTUM
RUNNING TIME: 73 minutes.
This is not for everyone, I made it more graphic with (short) pornographic scenes in the rectum, and the rape/beaten scene is done with music re-scores and sound effects.
This edit is done in chronological order, because I hated that reverse shit in the original.
The opening scene is done with the music of Funkadelic (Maggot Brain) and I used the music of Cliff Martinez, Jay Chattaway, Thom Yorke, and Disasterpeace.
It's pretty fucked up, and again it's only for the lovers.
The director had the intention to release also an original cut this year in August 2020 in chronological order but somehow it stays under construction.
The edit has embedded subtitles.
PERSONAL JUSTICE
RUNNING TIME: 68 minutes.
In this remake of an edit I did in 2017, you see only the story as it was written in the book.
Everything else is cut, and some scenes will be used from other movies.
This remake is slightly based on an earlier edit called Nocturnal Visions in which the editor used scenes from "Visions" and "Enemy"
Both stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Isla Fisher are in it and it worked really good in some scenes to combine it with Nocturnal Animals but as a whole, it was a little too much of everything.
However, the idea beyond it was really good, so I made my own version of it.
Re-scores and overdubs of John Carpenter and Mark Islam.
PREDATOR
Original Title: PREY (2022)
RUNNING TIME: 65 minutes.
My first Predator edit.
I like all the Predator movies and this one is beautiful shot.
Visually outstanding and Amber Midthunder is great as the Indian girl.
Like usual this one is trimmed in dialogue and some scenes of the Indian tribe are gone to create a more to the action cut between the girl and the predator.
Some additional music by Steven Price.
PLAYHOUSE
RUNNING TIME: 53 minutes.
Very impressed by this horror masterpiece.
There are some changes in the storyline.
In the original one of the sisters gets her first period, and has later a family, husband, and child.
That is completely removed in this edit.
The sister leaves NEVER the house in my version.
I cut it like she had a dream of what's happening in the beginning, but it turns out otherwise.
The girl is no writer, there is no book.
The whole story in this version stays in the house.

Great action movie and I recut this to an action full rollercoaster.
Goodman is outstanding in this movie, he plays the father of Garret Hedlund.
That's all cut, in my version he plays a weapon/drugs dealer, and there's no father/son relationship in this edit.

ONE SHOT
Original Title: THE DEERHUNTER
RUNNING TIME: 120 Minutes.
The Deerhunter was for me outstanding in every way.
I was blown away when I saw it in the theater.
A masterpiece but some scenes are too long in the original movie.
For example the church scene, and the wedding reception.
It is trimmed in this edit called One Shot.
One Shot was earlier done by me some years ago BUT of course, this completely new cut is done in DTS 7.1.
Some jokes are gone with the character John Welsh and there is no beginning of a relationship between Streep and De Niro.

NINA
Running Time: 60 minutes
A streamlined version of this masterpiece.
The edit is re-scored with the music of Marco Beltrami, Colin Stetson, and Jay Chattaway.
Joaquin Phoenix is outstanding in the movie and this edit is more dramatic.
I love the scenes especially with his mother.
In DTS surround 7.1
NIGHTKILL
RUNNING TIME: 118 minutes.
A TWO-IN-ONE EDITION.
It reminds me of FUNNY GAMES were people are tortured and killed.
They get away with it and that's it.
But in the sequel PREY AT NIGHT there is payback.
There is a lot trimmed off the first one, building up the suspense is now a lot faster.
A lot of sound effects, music overdubs and re-scores of Tomandandy. (Sinister 2 soundtrack with
the collaboration of John Carpenter)
The beginning of the second one is completely cut, absolutely not important for this edit.
An alternative ending and some changes in the storyline.
The whole edit is done in a 2.40 ratio.
NIGHT AT THE CARNIVAL
Original Title: THE FUNHOUSE
RUNNING TIME: 61 Minutes.
This is a remake of an edit I did some years ago.
I believe in a double feature but this remake has a 5.1 sound.
The earlier cut was done from a Blu-ray in only 2.0 stereo.
This is also completely different in editing, the brother of Berridge was only in the opening of the first cut and completely removed after the shower scene.
In this new cut, her brother and her parents are completely gone from this edit.
Also some attractions of the Carnival are cut.
Music is used in other scenes by John Beal, from the same soundtrack.
MANIAC'S TALES OF HORROR
Original Title: COBWEB - TALK TO ME
RUNNING TIME 119 minutes.
The first of two edits in a DF.
The movies are cut down to approx. one hour with the usual re-scores and without the dragging shit and keep a fast-paced story.
The edits are presented as Tales from the Crypt, the tv series from several years ago.
Footage is used of The Creep from Creepshow.

MANIAC'S TALES OF HORROR (PART 2)
Original Title: SMILE - THE BOOGEY MAN (2023)

A Double Feature.
Part 2 of "Tales of Horror" with the Creep as the host.
The first edition is the horror hit "Smile".
The second edition is a remake of The Boogey Man after a short story by Stephen King.
Re-scores are used in both soundtracks, I used segments of Smile in Boogey Man and segments of Boogey Man in Smile.
Bot movies are cut to approx. one hour.
AC3 5.1 Sound.
There is also a complete 2.40 widescreen version because I kept in the first version the original ratio.
MONSTER - THE MILWAUKEE CANNIBAL
Original Title: DAHMER - MONSTER: THE JEFFREY DAHMER STORY

The successful series is now edited into one movie.
This edit is chronological and all the dragging shit is removed.
Also inserts of "My Friend Dahmer" are used, and a lot of scenes are re-scored with the music from Tyler Bates, Rogue Banos, and others.

Original Title: HARDWARE.
RUNNING TIME: 66 minutes.
Absolutely outstanding this movie.
I saw this back in time at the imagine film festival in Amsterdam.
A machine comes back to "life" in the apartment of some chick.
I love the scenes with William Hootkins as the horny peeping tom.
I met Hootkins personally at some festival years ago when he was in my country.
We talked about his appearance in Batman and how it was to work with Jack Nicholson.
Years later he died of cancer so this edit is dedicated to him.
This edit is streamlined and I removed the usual dragging crap and I used the same soundtrack.
Some tv footage is replaced (when the chick watches tv) with other stuff.
I made this edit in 2.40 widescreen, sound in DTS.
MADMAN

This is a complete remake in DTS 7.1
The first one I did was in 2017 in stereo but this is one of the so-called remakes I do in DTS surround.
Here and there are some changes in music, and there are flashbacks to the original Mad Max.
In the flashback scenes, you see Gibson only on his back or partially his face.
Cut like a rollercoaster and now with the sound as it was meant to be.
Also released is the same edit in a Black and Chrome edition.

Original Title: GOD IS A BULLET
RUNNING TIME: 102 Minutes.
It's awe-inspiring this movie and the violence is over the top.
The special effects are great, bloody, sadistic, women beating, it has everything.
The original story needs to be shorter, drags a little, and a few scenes are filled with stupid music.
There are completely unnecessary scenes removed in this movie, and some scenes are edited differently.
I re-scored many scenes with music among others by Max Richter, Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, Nick Mason, and Rick Fenn.

KURTZ
RUNNING TIME: 98 minutes.
One of my favorite Vietnam War movies.
I did the first edit in 2015, THE HORROR, but technically it was crap.
I didn't get what I wanted because of the software I used back in time.
In 2019, I did the remake called "KURTZ" with Adobe and that was technically much better.
That version was in AC3 2-channel stereo.
NOW we have (almost) the same thing BUT in DTS 7.1
I re-edited the whole movie from a 4K source converted in 1080p and this is the last time I put my hands on it.
The opening is done with Jimi Hendrix' Machine Gun and re-scores of Abigail Mead (Full Metal Jacket)
It is trimmed as hell, the original movie was a beautiful experience to watch but
way too long.
In this last and new cut, there are more scenes of KILGORE and KURTZ.
Don't expect that France bullshit or the dancing playmate hookers, it's all gone.
