Short edition of a Spanish horror-thriller.
Three assholes breaking in by a family in their new home.
The Father is taken to a bank machine far away from home to draw a lot of money.
That scene is trimmed in this edit and it stays most of the time by the Mother and Daughter.
The Mother and Daughter are terrorized by the other two.
The edit is re-scored with my usual composers.
Especially in the beginning, I removed some crap music and what we have now is an hour of terror, beatings, and rape.
All the scenes are filmed in one shot so it was difficult to edit but finally, I had what I wanted.

VIOLENT RAPE

Original Title: I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE (1978)

RUNNING TIME: 65 minutes.

Keaton does a pretty good job on this and although I don't like skinny women her hairy bush is
outstanding.
The rape scenes are well executed, but the revenge scenes are cheap and laughable.
Overall, the movie is technically poor and the sequels of this movie are real trash. 
The re-makes are much better but I already did that with SODOMY and SAVAGE VENGEANCE.
DTS 5.1 sound, the sodomy-rape scene is more graphic and extended with slow-motion effects and in his original ratio.

VIOLENT MISTRESS

Revenge is an intense and visually stunning film that features vibrant colors and graphic violence. 
For this edit, I have used flashbacks in black and white and added soundtracks by Clouser, Stetson, and Banos. 
By reducing the amount of dialogue and employing various editing techniques with sound effects, I have transformed this movie into a thrilling rollercoaster ride.

ULTRA VIOLENCE

Original Title: A CLOCKWORK ORANGE

RUNNING TIME: 75 minutes.

A whole different edition from what you see in the original.
In a 2.40 widescreen ratio, all the classical music is gone, there is by Alex Delarge no admiring of Ludwig van Beethoven.
I always hated that fucking classical music, the parents of Delarge were some mentally unstable idiots to me and also very irritating in the movie, 
so these characters are completely cut as some others.
In my version is Delarge a psychopath who gets his kicks of bizarre porn, sadistic violence, and rape.
Also that two of his companions are coming back as policemen as what you see in the original, is outside this cut. Totally unbelievable.
So the movie is entirely re-scored and Delarge is in my version actually a loner, 
who lives on his own with bizarre fantasies and goes on a hunt for some ultra-violence every night. 
There is a lot of footage replaced, (his fantasies, and the cinema scenes)
After the Ludovico treatment, if you know the original film they release him.
Mentally unstable and confused he has to deal with a past victim of him.
Re-scores are done by Marco Beltrami and many others.

This edit has pornographic stuff and extremely violent scenes from other horror movies.

The story revolves around a man who has to deal with a large rat in his apartment. Bart Hughes' work is trimmed and his family has been completely removed.

It was a bizarre film, but I loved every minute of it.
I brought it back to 65 minutes because the original (120 minutes) has a very slow build-up.
The acting is outstanding, great camerawork and the violence is pretty extreme.

One of my favorite Western movies is "Bone Tomahawk". 
It has some great horror effects, but some dragging scenes are removed in this edit. 
Additionally, the dialogue has been cut and the soundtrack has been re-scored by Stephen McKeon, Brooke Blair, and Will Blair.

THE CHOSEN

Original Title: KNOCK AT THE CABIN

RUNNING TIME: 59 minutes.

A great film, I enjoyed it, but in this version, the flashbacks are removed.
We keep the story in the cabin, and unimportant dialogue is removed. 
For example, there is no conversation as you see at the beginning of the original between Wen and Leonard.
I think the scene is now more threatening as the girl sees the four walk to the cabin.
Music is in some scenes re-scored, but I used the same soundtrack for that because it was outstanding, some music segments of The Newton Brothers.

Original Title: M3GAN

RUNNING TIME: 68 minutes.

Great horror which I saw in the theater.
It reminds me of the Child's Play movies and for me is M3GAN the little sister of Chucky.
A streamlined edition, some characters are removed, unimportant dialogue, and some melodramatic bullshit.
My M3GAN doesn't sing and has murderous tendencies if someone works against her.

THE LAST HALLOWEEN

Original Title: HALLOWEEN III - SEASON OF THE WITCH

RUNNING TIME: 75 minutes.

After finishing Halloween - The Last Stand I worked on this one: The Last Halloween.
Like Halloween - The Shape Returns is from the mind of Zagadka and as usual, we gonna do something different to this "Season of the Witch" from 1982.
Re-scores are done by Carpenter from Christine, Prince of Darkness, and others. I use a UHD 4K copy as the source. 

ZAGADKA:  A revisited version of Tommy Lee Wallace's Halloween III: Season of the Witch
Re-introduce and re-edit the film and eliminate the unnecessary areas that distract the viewer from 
seeing its strengths: hammy acting, bad special effects, 'comical' parts that weren't even remotely funny, cringe-worthy scenes, and sloppy editing. 
Re-scores with new music and sound effects. 
Scarier, more serious, and more sinister.

Original Title: WATCHER

Watcher is great, it reminds me of Carpenter's "Someone is watching me" Brian de Palma's "Body Double" and it was fun to see the actress Maika Monroe again in this movie.
She was great in "It Follows" a movie I worked on years ago, a fan edit called The Following.
In this 63 minutes cut, there is a lot of dialogue removed, scenes with the female neighbor of Monroe, and a lot of re-scores by John Carpenter, Pino Donaggio and Disasterpeace.

THE GRABBER

Original Title: THE BLACK PHONE

RUNNING TIME: 65 minutes.

Also one I saw in the theater, it was great but the abduction
of the boy and when he is locked up in the cellar with these phone conversations was a little too long. 
I trimmed all phone conversations, the boy Finney remembers everyone he has on the phone of the Crabber's previous victims, and that was a little too much for me.
So in this edit, it stays unclear who is on the phone.

Brand New Cherry Flavor was outstanding.

A request to do this movie.
I saw it a few weeks earlier, and I disliked the 4.3 ratio, so to begin with I changed that to 1.85.1 widescreen.
Strong acting, although the rape scenes are for me personally on a very low level so with sound effects, and flashbacks, I created a nightmarish effect to the violence in the movie.
Almost NO music in the original cut, so with a lot of my usual composers I made a whole different cut from what you see in the original.
The singing is cut by Aisling Franciosi and some weird stuff is also gone.

One of my favorites, a slasher from the '80s with brief makeup effects by Tom Savini.
Cut to 61 minutes, I removed some unbelievable crap, and Lauren Tewes her friend the lawyer is totally cut.
A remake, it was first released years ago in a double feature and that was from DVD, now this version is from Blu-ray.

THE CARETAKER

Original Title: THE BURNING

RUNNING TIME: 63 Minutes.

The Burning is one of my favorites, I think it's even better than FRIDAY THE 13th, but the burn accident with Cropsy was for me a failure.
Mainly because of the fire suit the stuntman wears when Cropsy runs out of the cabin. 
That crap is cut from the print.
The burn accident is re-cut as a flashback in the edit.
The music of Rick Wakeman was fine but messy in some scenes.
So I did some re-scores with the music of Tyler Bates.
The killing of the hooker is completely re-scored with other music. 
Streamlined, modified and the stereo soundtrack is converted to 5.1 sound. 
So the complete final edit is done in a DTS-HD sound.

THE WOMAN ON THE TRAIN

Original Title: THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN

RUNNING TIME: 84 minutes.

After our adventures with Hannibal and Jigsaw, this is the next one coming from the mind of ZAGADKA.
He asked me if I was interested in making this and although I know the movie I saw it a few weeks ago on the big projection screen to give me some reminder of how the original story is.
The man has great ideas, so let's do it.
Not really in my alley, BUT I like the movie and the actress Emily Blunt so I think we can make something special about this movie.

ZAGADKA: The aim is to tell the story from Rachel’s (Emily Blunt) perspective
only.   Also, a few clunky bits of dialog and exposition ruined the atmosphere and mystery about the killer’s identity.
With a tighter running time and the removal of the cringeworthy scenes, there’s an actually
good and dark thriller hidden under some melodrama trash.

THE HEWITT FAMILY

TRASH MAN

Original Title: CLEAN

RUNNING TIME: 60 minutes.

Great performance of Brody in this movie.
In my version, he is the same character as Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver, enough of the shit he sees around him. 
Because of some drug-related shit and the care abouts of a black neighbor girl, he will be confronted in a violent confrontation with Fleshler and his buddies.
I loved it, great acting, and I liked the locations where they shot it, so for me material enough to create a Maniac edit about it.

TRAFFIC

Original Title: UNHINGED

RUNNING TIME: 58 minutes.

Great movie when I saw it on Blu-ray.
Somehow it reminds me of BATTLE, my first edit of Duel. (1971)
Terrorizing someone in the traffic and it's more excessive when the victims are a woman and a child.
But like always there are scenes not really realistic in the original and that is completely cut in this edit.
I removed (strangely enough) some killings, to begin with, the opening.
Crowe murders his ex-wife and lover in the beginning but in my version his introduction is later.
I think the character of Crowe must be more mysterious, it's a psychopath who lives on the edge of a complete mental breakdown.
The second thing that is removed is the lawyer of the woman.
Crowe kills the lawyer in a cafeteria but the scene is removed in the edit.
With these scenes and with some unimportant dialogue removed, I made a rollercoaster cut of 58 minutes.
It's now a road movie, with action and terror all the way.
DTS sound 7.1, 2.40 widescreen, and with embedded subtitles.
Additional music by Charlie Clouser, and Tomandandy.

Scarface was a little bit too long for almost 3 hours, so I made a cut of 120 minutes.

The end shooting is a little "pumped up" in sound, with overdubs to make it more graphic.

Two-in-one edition, I begin with the opening of the sequel Aliens. 
Ripley is found by a team and her story about what happened on the ship is edited as a flashback of the original Alien.
A lot of sound effects and re-scores in some scenes.
I used both special editions of the movies.
The whole edit is done in a 2.40 ratio and music overdubs are used by Tomandandy and Elliot Goldenthal.
