This edit stays in the past of what was happening in Louisiana in 1935.
The Green Mile is one of my favorite Stephen King stories, it knocked me off my feet the first time I saw it.
The acting is incredible, an absolute masterpiece.
However, I had problems with the "old" Paul Edgecombe, an old mouse, and also some original music choices.
I cut out approx. 65 minutes in this edit, mainly some comic stuff, uphold shit.
The private life of Edgecombe is trimmed, his wife is introduced later, some comic bullshit of William Wharton is gone, and also scenes of asshole Percy Wetmore are cut.
Additional music is used, and the edit is done in 2.40 widescreen in DTS surround.
