The focus shifts to the intense conflict between Leon and Norman Stansfield, brilliantly portrayed by Gary Oldman.
Stansfield will play a more prominent role in this edit, with some tweaks made to the music.
I used the original soundtrack, but there are also some music replacements.
Alternative footage of New York is used.
Leon embraces the girl after the killing of her family, and that's it.
So it is not in Mathilda's experience that Leon will eventually get to be her lover, and that she falls in love with him, that is gone.
