This is a one-hour and 50-minute edition of Beau is Afraid.
Beau lives in his apartment, surrounded by crazy people, characters that you see for example in the world of David Lynch.
He is going to visit his Mother, but that is not going to be exactly smooth.
What we have then is all kinds of weird stuff happening to him, mostly comic but also tragic.
I liked the original that runs for almost 3 hours, but the biggest cuts were done in the woods when Beau watches a play.
Some scenes are way too long.
Don't expect a very old Beau as a farmer who lives with a family and sons, that is completely cut.
There is a lot of stuff changed in the edit, TV replacement, re-scores, and overdubs are used in the music.
Flashbacks of his youth are edited in a different order.
So overall there are some changes in the storyline and the so-called trail ending is completely removed.
Some shit music is removed, especially in one sex scene.
