Last year, I made a rather extreme version of 8MM with Nicolas Cage.
I announced it on Reddit, and eventually, when the edit went live, both the announcement and the actual posting were taken down by Reddit administrators.
A post was even made online criticizing what I'd done to the film.
Self-proclaimed moralists found what I'd done appalling, and after a lot of negative backlash, the post was taken down again.
That might have been an attempt to get me to consider not releasing the edit.
That didn't happen because negative comments mean nothing to me.
A few years ago, an administrator was introduced on Reddit who also worked at Fanedit.org.
I already had a strong suspicion that the same rules used on fanedit.org would also be applied to the Reddit fanedit page.
Before, Reddit was a platform where users could post anything freely.
However, over time, the atmosphere changed significantly, especially regarding the fan edit page.
There are now strict rules prohibiting links to websites for downloading fan edits, along with restrictions against nudity, graphic images on covers, and even the use of certain language.
These changes align closely with the rules on fanedit.org, where I had previously run afoul of the guidelines as a user.
Eventually, I deleted my Reddit account after they removed the Caligula edit because I had included pornographic footage.
After several covers were also taken down for reasons like preferred titles or even the presence of a drop of blood, I had enough of the platform.
As for SNUFF (8MM), the 4K edition has been enhanced using Topaz software.
The image quality has been significantly improved, and the audio is now in AAC 7.1
There is a clear warning indicating that this edition is NOT suitable for everyone. This 4K version will replace the previous 1080p edition.
No additional content has been added—only enhancements to picture quality and sound.

In 2021, I created an edit of *Apocalypse Now* titled *KURTZ*.
This significantly shortened version has a total runtime of 97 minutes.
It is part of a series transitioning from 1080p to 4K edits.
The 4K edit was accomplished with Topaz, the Artemis Enhancement feature and the audio is in DTS-HD sound.
Overall, the content remains consistent with the 1080p version.
