After the two-in-one edition of parts 1 and 2, we have now a modified cut called Gruesome Death - The Rollercoaster.

A lot of dialogue is gone and scenes are trimmed or completely cut, for example
the tanning bed scene with the two bitches is trimmed as also the funeral.
The photographs taken by Winstead are in this cut done in flashbacks.

GHOSTS

Original Title: THE FOG (1980)

This is the second remake of the earlier Carpenter Double Features
I did some years ago.
In 2020 I did BLOOD OATH, the edit of Assault on Precinct 13,
and now THE FOG, aka GHOSTS in DTS 7.1
A streamlined edition, and I used some music from the same soundtrack in this edit.

Original Title: SPEAK NO EVIL (2024)

RUNNING TIME: 72 Minutes.

In 2022, an original Dutch version of this movie was made in my country, and I thought it was pretty good, but I wanted to see more payback. 
That was the main issue with the Dutch version—there was no real payback.
In this American remake, there is payback when the family realizes they are in great danger.  

The relationship problems between Ben and Louise have been removed, as they weren't crucial to the story.
There is a scene where the whole family abruptly leaves because the daughter is sleeping with Paddy and Ciara.
I found this difficult to believe, as the daughter is very dependent on her mother and would likely not sleep with them.
This entire departure scene has been cut.
The restaurant scene has been shortened and features different background music.
The trip that Paddy and Ben take together has also been shortened, retaining only the hunting scene.
The most frustrating scenes were those where the family’s car has a flat tire after they wanna move from the farm.
After all the effort to change the tire, suddenly the toy bunny lying on the roof was not very convincing to me.
All of this content has been removed.

GOD'S LONELY MAN

Original Title: TAXI DRIVER

Edit without Shepherd (completely cut out) and no voice-overdub of De Niro.
Some music overdubs by Jay Chattaway and sound effects are used in the shooting at the end. 
In my version Bickle is a loner, and his loneliness is killing him, so he decided to execute Palentine who is running for president, 
just to make some kind of statement before he ends his miserable life. 
Although he likes him, he chooses him as the victim.
That fails and then he decides to rescue a 12-year-old hooker from her pimp, who he met earlier.

FREAKY NIKKI

Original Title: OBSESSION

RUNNING TIME: 64 minutes.

I really enjoyed "Obsession" by Curry Barker. 
I watched it in the movie theater before I went on vacation, and as I did, I began to piece the story together in my head, which gave me a different perspective. 
I found the idea of making Nikki fall in love with Bear—and the events that followed- quite humorous. 
However, it was intriguing to consider what the story would look like if there were no One Wish Willow 
and Nikki were actually a severely disturbed individual with a split personality and psychotic behavior, resembling a Jekyll-and-Hyde character.
I imported the film into Adobe, and as usual, I gave it my own twist. 
In my version, Bear is in love with Nikki and hopes to be her boyfriend. 
However, Bear is unaware that Nikki has been interested in him for quite some time. 
Much like in Clint Eastwood’s "Play Misty for Me", things are about to spiral out of control.
Additionally, instead of the original 4.5 aspect ratio, I edited it to a 1.85:1 ratio, producing it in 4K video quality with TrueHD 5.1 audio.

FUSE

Original Title: TOGETHER (2025)

RUNNING TIME: 61 minutes.

This is a fantastic horror film with nightmarish effects. 
However, I removed scenes of the character Jamie (Damon Herriman), allowing the edit to focus more on the couple, Tim and Millie.
I also incorporated different music throughout a large section, using the soundtrack from "Weapons." 
The film has been edited down to approximately 61 minutes, like a Twilight Zone TV episode.
There are some changes in the storyline because I decided not to take everything at face value. 
For instance, there's a couple who went missing after wandering into the mysterious cave. 
Later, we reencounter them as a deformed, two-headed monster. 
That particular scene didn't resonate with me, so I reinterpreted it as a nightmare by Tim. 
As a result, the second visit to the cave by Tim is no longer included.

FALLING APART

Original Title: FALLING DOWN

RUNNING TIME: 58 minutes.

A version with a lot of characters removed, Robert Duvall, Tuesday Weld, and others.
This has been done before, but this is a version with re-scores and a more depressing ending. 
Some humoristic lines are cut.
I saw the earlier edits, I remember "Under Construction" 
and recently the one called "A Day In Fury" but the quality and the audio editing of the last one were below standards.
My version/idea was for years on the shelf, but I decided to make it after my vacation trip. 
Re-scores of the same soundtrack by James Newton Howard, and additional music by Fesliyan studios.

FLAMMABLE

Original Title: DUEL 

RUNNING TIME: 45 Minutes.

A remake of a well-known edit I did in 2015, called BATTLE.
NOW, with another title, and in 7.1 DTS surround I put this back on the site.
This version is done in 2.40 widescreen and is technically better done with Adobe Pro.
Not many new surprises as what I did in the first one, but I want to have it back on the site in a new jacket.
In 2015 I did several workprints of this movie, but this new one I like the most.
Music overdubs of Mark Isham and I removed some mistakes from the original print.
Irritating in the original is that Spielberg sits in the backseat and is filming Weaver on his back 
You see that clearly in the mirror, I removed it in this edit with some close-up effects.

FUSION

Original Title: THE FLY (1986)

RUNNING TIME: 100 minutes.

In the 1986 remake of THE FLY by David Cronenberg the baboon sequence was cut from the theatrical release.
Cronenberg found it too graphic or too sadistic for release.
In this edit, the baboon sequence is restored.
So this is an "extended version"
The Fly is one of my favorites, a masterpiece in horror with outstanding music by Howard Shore.
Some sound effects are used and I changed the music here and there.

FLAT TYRE

Original Title: BIG DRIVER

RUNNING TIME: 50 minutes.

Based on a story by Stephen King.
In this edit, I cut the characters that the woman sees in her imagination from her books.
Real irritating in the original so this cut is more about the rape and the following revenge.
This edit has a lot of sound effects, some re-scores and the rape is more gruesome and violent.
Also, the navigation control called "TOM" who has real conversations in the original with the woman is edited like a "normal" navigation. 
This edition is now upscaled to 4K resolution with Dolby TrueHD audio.

ELVIS - A LEGENDARY PERFORMER

Original Title: EPIC - ELVIS PRESLEY IN CONCERT / THAT'S THE WAY IT IS/ ON TOUR.

RUNNING TIME: 141 minutes.

I recently watched Baz Luhrmann's long-awaited epic film about Elvis Presley. 
The film featured unreleased footage from *That's the Way It Is* and *Elvis on Tour*. 
While the documentary jumps between these two productions and incorporates various mixed sounds I'm not particularly fond of, they weren't distracting.
After seeing it in the theater, I had the idea to create an extended version that would better organize the material. 
I retrieved one of my external drives filled with Elvis material from the closet. 
My plan is to edit a musical chronicle that spans the 1950s to the 1970s.
This project will focus on Luhrmann's epic film but will also include additional content from *That's the Way It Is*, *Elvis on Tour*.
All the footage will be upscaled to 4K using Topaz, with the audio enhanced to 5.1 surround sound.
It will be a musical journey through the concerts of this legendary performer.

ELVIS

Original Title: BUBBA HO-TEP

RUNNING TIME: 76 minutes.

Bubba Ho-Tep is a comedy film about Elvis Presley spending his old days in a nursing home. 
When I first saw the movie, I had a hard time with it because I adore Elvis like a god. 
I felt like the movie was making fun of him in some way. 
However, after watching it several times, it's now one of my favorites. 
There was no Elvis music in the film at all, and I had been thinking about combining it with real Elvis material for years. 
This is the idea behind my edit, combining it with music from Elvis and video clips of him.

The story has changed here and there. 
In the original, Elvis (well-played by Bruce Campbell) has taken on the identity of an Elvis impersonator to be freed from the show business that was slowly destroying him. 
In my version, that is not the case. 
He staged his death and subsequently lives on under the name Sebastian Haff. The story continues in 2007, 30 years after his alleged death.

Elvis is old and lame, regrets his plan at the time, and dreams and thinks back a lot about his successful years. 
That dreaming and thinking back is alternated with real video clips of Elvis. Bubba's story continues as usual, albeit abbreviated.

EVIL DEAD - THE HOLY MOTHER

ORIGINAL TITLE: EVIL DEAD RISE

RUNNING TIME: 69 minutes.

In this streamlined edition, I begin with the opening of Evil Dead 2013.
The scene with the girl who gets burned alive by her father is heavily trimmed.
To start with that scene was for me much better than what you see in the original.
The happening takes place in 2010, and the Rise movie takes place 13 years later.
I used the first scene as an intro to the demon.
Unimportant dialogue is cut, and the stupid scene with the girl opening the door for her possessed mother is gone.
That crap music used by the boy is replaced.
Aunt Beth is NOT pregnant, totally unnecessary to put that in the movie, so I used the toilet scene only as the intro for Beth. 
In my version, she pisses in the toilet, that's it, and she visits her sister after not seeing her for a long time. 
Additional music by Roque Baños and Rene G. Boscio.

EVIL DEAD - THE FAMILY REUNION

Original Title: EVIL DEAD BURN

RUNNING TIME: 83 minutes.

As always, I enjoy the Evil Dead movies. I thought the 2013 remake of Evil Dead was fantastic.
A few years ago, Evil Dead Rise was released, which I adapted into a project titled EVIL DEAD: THE HOLY MOTHER.
In THE HOLY MOTHER, I used the opening scene from EVIL DEAD (2013)—the sequence featuring the teenager being burned alive—because I felt it was more powerful and fitting for my adaptation.
In the original opening of Evil Dead Rise, we’re introduced to the demon Jessica, who eventually takes residence in the lake where she claims a few victims.
That lake and the demon ultimately reappear in Evil Dead Burn.
This connection was another reason for me to utilize the opening of Evil Dead Rise for my edit EVIL DEAD: A FAMILY REUNION. (EVIL DEAD BURN)
The film has undergone significant changes in this edit. 
For example, Will’s cremation is portrayed in a much more serious light than in the original. 
I removed all of the chopping and drilling by the construction crew in that scene.
Some dialogue from the senile grandmother has also been eliminated to create a more serious tone.
I trimmed many scenes to give the adaptation a more rollercoaster-like effect, and I excised the bar-dancing scene entirely.
Will’s abuse of his wife, Alice, is depicted through flashbacks in this adaptation.
I’ve also incorporated alternative music by Stephen McKeon (from the Evil Dead Rise soundtrack) and Roque Baños.

EVIL BORN

Original Title: IMMACULATE

RUNNING TIME: 66 minutes.

I initially planned to create a combined version of Immaculate and The First Omen as a Two-in-One combo. 
After watching both films multiple times, I decided to release separate edits. 
Certain aspects of the storyline didn't quite work, so I re-edited it as a cohesive story. 
The edit is now 66 minutes long and features re-scoring by Steve Jablonski, Alexis Grapsas, Danny Bensi, and Saunder Jurriaans. 
The added music enhances the suspense compared to the original soundtrack.
English subtitled. (Some scenes in Italian language)

EVIL'58

Original Title: CHRISTINE

A streamlined version of Christine, with additional music from Anna Dubrich and the original score by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth.
In this version I removed scenes of the parents of Arnie, the introduction of Leigh is later in the edit, and scenes of John Stockwell are cut and scenes trimmed in dialogue.

EPIDEMIC

Original Title: REC - REC 2 

RUNNING TIME: 122 Munites.

A TWO in ONE Edition.
The two films are perfect for that.
Although I had pain in my ears of that chaotic Spanish language, the story is pretty good.
Some infection is spread in a building and it turns out to be some demonic possession in the second chapter.
REC 2 is done in chronological order, the camera is switching between the emergency workers and a group of teenagers. 
In this edit, we see now the happenings in different camera angles.
A lot of sound effects,  power down and up crap, you name it.
Additional music by Tyler Bates.

DEPRESSION

Original Title: DIE, MY LOVE

RUNNING TIME: 73 minutes.

Jennifer Lawrence delivers an excellent performance as a mother grappling with postpartum depression.
However, I found the film a bit too long, with unnecessary scenes scattered throughout that felt like filler.
With a few exceptions, the music was not what I expected. 
As a result, many scenes that featured a record or radio player in the background had their original music replaced.
The edit emphasizes the horror elements more than the drama.
4K source, and the sound is in AC3.

DEATH ROW

Original Title: THE GREEN MILE

RUNNING TIME: 118 minutes.

This edit stays in the past of what was happening in Louisiana in 1935.
The Green Mile is one of my favorite Stephen King stories, it knocked me off my feet the first time I saw it.
The acting is incredible, an absolute masterpiece. 
However, I had problems with the "old" Paul Edgecombe, an old mouse, and also some original music choices.
I cut out approx. 65 minutes in this edit, mainly some comic stuff, uphold shit.
The private life of Edgecombe is trimmed, his wife is introduced later, some comic bullshit of William Wharton is gone, and also scenes of asshole Percy Wetmore are cut.
Additional music is used, and the edit is done in 2.40 widescreen in DTS surround.

DANGER OF DEATH

Original Title: FALL

RUNNING TIME: 53 MINUTES.

Complete different from the story in the original.
One woman does dangerous shit for her blog and climbs a TV tower with her girlfriend.
That goes wrong.
The background story of the girlfriend is totally cut (loss of her husband, the affair the husband had with her girlfriend, it's all gone.

DOLUS

Original Title: LOCKED

RUNNING TIME: 67 minutes.

I have removed Bill Skarsgård's (Eddy Barrish) daughter in this edition. 
All the melodramatic elements have been eliminated, leaving a sadistic game between Skarsgård and Hopkins. 
The original music has been rearranged and placed in different scenes, and the entire film has been recut to a running time of 67 minutes.
In my version, Barrish (Bill Skarsgård) is a burglar who primarily steals stuff from expensive cars to fulfill his daily needs. 
However, he eventually encounters the wrong car belonging to Hopkins.

DEADLY SINS

Original Title: SEVEN

RUNNING TIME: 80 minutes.

My personal vision of Seven.
The film is a masterpiece but with re-scores by Charlie Clouser (SAW music) and the use of black and white, it's darker and more depressing.
In this version, I trimmed the fuzz about the retirement of Somerset and he and Mills and his wife already know each other.
It is differently edited, and streamlined, with some inserts of other footage.
A so-called cameo of Travis Bickle (Taxi Driver) is in this edition.

DARKNESS

Original Title: 30 DAYS OF NIGHT

RUNNING TIME: 78 minutes

I am not a very big fan of the Vampire genre but this one is perfect.
I love the atmosphere in the movie, extremely well done, so I made a streamlined version of this.
Removed is a lot of unimportant dialogue and the (love) relationship between Hartnett and George is heavily trimmed, to make it less melodramatic.
English subtitles by Zagadka.

DOPPELGÄNGER

RUNNING TIME: 67 minutes.

Although there were some good moments in this movie, the original story was a great disappointment.
Most irritating was the very slow build up in the story/movie and the ridiculous ending.
My version is more like the story as what you see in The Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
My story in this edit is purely simple, these imitations are taking over the world and the family is trying to survive.
Nothing more than that, I removed all the slow bullshit and irritating stuff to create an action full edit.
